Award winning author and journalist Jonathan Freedland gave a fascinating talk to a captive audience at the Jewish Museum in Manchester. Brian Wilkins gave the vote of thanks and presented Jonathan with a Golden Book Certificate.

Manchester Director Filis Rosenberg was delighted to be able to report that several thousands of pounds had been raised towards Manchester's 2008 project for the new Children's Hospital, a paediatric dialysis station.
